What We Offer
BEGINNERS CLASS
Calling all Beginner Yogis! This class introduces the fundamental principles of yoga alignment through step-by-step verbal description and demonstration. Emphasis is placed on student understanding, learning how to breath, safety and stability within each pose all while having fun!
BASIC LEVEL 1/2
Good choice for beginners. Level ½ is a slower-paced flow class geared towards those new to yoga or preferring a slightly gentler class. Time is spent breaking down sun salutations and other poses fundamental to a Vinyasa practice. Props and modifications are offered for proper alignment and ease in the postures.
VINYASA LEVEL 2
All levels are welcomed but those new to yoga should start with our Level ½ classes. These classes are a flow based practice with an emphasis on repetitive and dynamic movement including sun salutations. These classes may include deeper backbends, inversions, and arm balances guided by the instructor. Props and modifications are always offered to accommodate every students’ level and needs.
VINYASA LEVEL 2/3
Similar to the Vinyasa Level 2, these classes include a stronger flow with an emphasis on repetitive and dynamic movement including sun salutations. These classes may include deeper backbends, inversions, and arm balances guided by the instructor. Props and modifications are always offered to accommodate every students’ needs.
CORE FOCUS
Get energized and into the core! This class is great for all levels as it helps to develop healthy and efficient movement patterns by focusing on functional core strength, dynamic stretching and postural awareness. Socks recommended.
SWEAT & SURRENDER
This 60 minute, continuous, breath based Vinyasa Flow class is designed to get your heat up, touch every body part and drop you down into a melty bliss! A curated playlist sets the mood, to get the soul moving and transform your sivasana. Experience with Sun Salutations, Level 2 recommended.
MORNING FLOW
Morning Flow. A smooth, energizing flow based practice open to all levels. This class will warm up and energize the body allowing you enter the rest of your day with vitality and equanimity. A great way to start your day!
LUNCHTIME FLOW
An invigorating Flow class open to all levels. A great way to break up the day whether you've been sitting at your desk or out running errands. This class is designed to release tension and stress from your morning and energize you to get over your afternoon hump. All levels are welcomed but some experience is recommended.
EVENING FLOW
This relaxing evening flow is a perfect way to end your day, unwind and prepare your body and mind for a restful nights sleep. Individuals new to yoga, and those who have been practicing for years will benefit from the slow paced flow geared to honor your energetic levels at the end of the day. You will move through a series of poses to help burn off excess energy from your day as well as find quiet moments of stillness bringing you into a deeper state of relaxation to prepare for your evening.
GENTLE YOGA
This class is perfect for those looking for a softer, slow-paced and well-supported practice. You will be guided clearly through carefully orchestrated movements and well-measured stretches. It’s the perfect class for students with movement limitations such as general stiffness, recovery from surgery, illness or injury; for an older body or those looking to move more slowly. This class is appropriate for beginner students.
FLOW & RESTORE
All levels are welcomed but those new to yoga should start with our Level ½ classes. This well-rounded class infuses candlelit ambiance (in the evening) and music set to the pace of an inspired Vinyasa Flow for the first half of the practice. The class ends with juicy restorative poses, deep hip openers and/or relaxing forward bends. Perfect to release mid-day tension, ease away the day and prepare you for a restful night's sleep.
MEDITATION FOR THE MODERN MIND
Curious about meditation or have been reluctant to try? We know quieting the mind can ofter feel impossible, that's why we have dedicated a class entirely to teaching students how. In this weekly session, students will practice and study mindfulness and meditation techniques based in yogic philosophy and the teachings of the historic Buddha. Each class will include meditation, teachings and instruction appropriate for complete beginners to experienced practitioners, and time for group inquiry/Q&A. The class is aimed to provide techniques and tools you can use on and off of the meditation cushion, and to help students cultivate mindfulness practices in their daily lives.
YOGA WITH MEDITATION
Are you looking to incorporate some meditation into your movement practice, or some movement into your meditation practice? Then this class is for you! Each class will incorporate a seated meditation, elements of traditional and contemporary yoga, as well as other movement modalities. Open to all levels.
